It’s one thing to know the Montessori principles, quite another to apply them at home. If you’re interested in getting more practical knowledge in this area, then these seminars might be just what you need.
Ylenia Maitino is eager to share her knowledge and experience with you and will organise four seminars (1h30 each) throughout this academic year. These seminars are open to anyone who might be interested in applying the Montessori principles at home.
Dates and topic of seminars
- 18 November 2023: “The child’s development” – focus on the absorbent mind and the sensitive periods.
- 20 January 2024: “The importance of observation in supporting the child’s developmental needs.”
- 24 February 2024: “The role of the adult” – focus on the prepared environment and how to promote independence.
- 16 March 2024: “Freedom and Limits.”
Each session will involve practical examples and activities to be organised at home. Parents are encouraged to ask questions.
